In a nutshell Dexter Morgan is a bloodstain pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who moonlights as a serial killer. Great concept, right? Both the novels and TV Series (which vary wildly after the first season) are killer! And there’s good news for Dexter fans, the Showtime series has been renewed for a seventh AND eighth season! Let’s hope that they can continue to keep producing a great show over the next two seasons. Whether you’re a fan of the Dexter novels by Jeff Lindsay or the TV series starring Michael C.
