Welcome to the first t-shirt review of our ’3 Space Invaders Designs in 3 days’ series. First up we have this retro screenshot Space Invaders tee. We just had to start with this one, anyone who’s spent too much time playing this classic game will dig being able to wear it in all its 8-bit glory. Represent old school gaming, when games weren’t all about pretty graphics, but skill and frustrating difficulty!
Every time I think of Space Invaders I’m reminded of that awesome Futurama Episode and the quotes from the commander of the space invaders, Lrrr.
First when directing the invaders, “Increase speed, drop down a level, reverse direction.”
And when they have landed he taunts the humans with, “Instead of shooting where I was, you should have shot at where I was going to be!” – so true, lol! Anyway, back to the tee!
