Bunker Designs Vampirobot T-Shirt

Today it’s our pleasure to present the awesome Vampirobot T-Shirt from Bunker Designs. Bunker Designs, based in Costa Rica, launched in 2009 with a small but funky range of t-shirts. The guys at bunker are having fun with their unique designs and are working to create a community around their product, known as ‘the resistance’.

Taken from the Bunker site: “We believe in a positive and stimulating world… as well a common front against the world’s negativism, in memorable, unexpected, clever, fun, creative and inspired ways”

While their mission statement may come across as somewhat idealistic, more power to them, I’ll be happy as long as they keep cranking out these great tees! My personal favorite, just so happens to be the one they sent us for review, the Vampirobot T-Shirt! What is Vampirobot? To find out I consulted Bunker Designs case file:

All fun aside, I really dig this design. It’s playful — it’s a cute vampire-robot featuring kanji writting (which I really should find the translation of!?). It’s well designed, the print is high quality and the fit is light and comfortable.

Whether or not your willing to admit it, many of us can identify with the Could You Come Back in a Few Beers T-Shirt from T-Shirt Hell. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, this tee doesn’t discriminate.

Maybe it had been a while between ‘drinks’, you’d hit a dry patch. Your out on the town hoping to get lucky, when someone approaches you. You know your a level or two above them, you could do better, perhaps. Just in time for the winter Olympics in Canada comes the Canadians are Eh Holes T-Shirt. The Eh Hole reference is a piss take on the stereo typical Canadian that says ‘Eh’ at the end of each sentence (Eh hole is pronounced A hole, get it?). If you’re planning to go to Canada for the winter games, here’s a great way to support your country and piss off the locals at the same time! What could be better than offending the country you are a guest in?

The graphic design is great. On first glance it looks like a Canadian supporters t-shirt, but surprise, on closer inspection, eat that Canadian! (but seriously, we love Canada/Canadians, you guys can really take a joke…)

Slavery Gets Shit Done T-Shirt

Let me start by saying, you better have a sense of humor this week or you are going to be offended. Often.

So, let’s do this, here it is, one of the most offensive designs we could find, the Slavery Gets Shit Done T-Shirt. Surprisingly this is actually one of the most popular designs from T-Shirt Hell, and has been for quite a while.

Why are we featuring this design? Good question. We had a hard time deciding on whether or not we would. We wouldn’t wear it ourselves, but if we are going to do an ‘offensive t-shirts’ theme, we can’t shy away from the most offensive designs, right? You’re probably taking a risk wearing this shirt in public, maybe it should come with a disclaimer. Sure the graphic design focuses on the get-pyramids-built type slavery, but the slogan itself may be taken to be promoting a more recent and still sensitive kind of slavery.
