Pirate Life & Friend or Foe T-Shirts from Ghoststar

Today we present two awesome tees from Ghoststar, a brand with attitude, featuring big, bold, in-your-face designs. If you’re a fan of dark art (skulls, demons, horror) and full size prints, then this is the brand for you!
 

Background

Ghoststar’s about us page says, “*Ghoststar* was established with a single idea in mind: to create a legacy that could capture the rough, take-no-crap attitude and individuality of bikers. But just because *Ghoststar* weren’t going to be elegant evening wear, that didn’t mean they weren’t worthy of exceptional craftsmanship. In fact, the nature of activities common to bikers meant that the tees needed to be at least as durable as the bikes themselves.”
 

I think that mission statement certainly rings true when you view their designs. But, I thought it might be worth mentioning that Ghoststar aren’t your average tee brand and don’t limit themselves to just t-shirts. In fact they also sell, stickers, patches, posters, gloves and vampire steaks… yes, vampire steaks!
 

Designs

First, the Pirate Life T-Shirt (pictured above.) This design is quite similar to the Ghoststar logo, which is also available on a tee as a back-print. Both designs feel inspired by old school tattoo art, but there are a number of additions and changes to differentiate the two. Pirate Life is a full size white print on a black tee, featuring a skull framed by two cutlass swords, stars, lightning bolts and the brand name over a scroll. You’ll see this one coming from a mile away!

Next is the Friend or Foe T-Shirt. It features a skull decked out with pirate hat, eye patch with blades and treasure chests to each side. Written over a scroll that loops in and out of the design is, “Woe to friend & foe when its time to rock n roll.” There is a lot more detail in this design and it features a two tone color print which works very well.

Both tees feature screen printed designs and tag, on 100% ringspun cotton tee. They’re printed using water-based ink which leaves an extremely soft print.
